Leadership Mountain Brook is a partnership between Mountain Brook High School, the City of Mountain Brook, and the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce designed to develop the next generation of community leaders. Through this two-semester, one-credit course, juniors and seniors step beyond the classroom to discover how their city works, connect with local and state leaders, and strengthen their own leadership, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.

More importantly, students are challenged to see themselves as active participants in the future of the community they call home. The program culminates in student-led projects that identify real community needs and turn thoughtful ideas into action through partnerships with local organizations and leaders—giving students the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on Mountain Brook.
